Race week

Race week sessions

A short, light session early in the week of a race. Nothing deep and nothing new.

In race week we do less, not more. Sessions are 30 or 45 minutes at easy pressure, booked early in the week, and we leave your legs alone in the last two days. Book as soon as your race date is set; these times fill first.

  • 30 or 45 minutes

  • Light, brisk strokes

  • Early in the week, never the day before

Good to know

Pressure, cover and what to wear

  • Pressure

We ask before we start and check as we go. Lighter or firmer, just say.

  • Covered

A sheet or towel the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered.

  • Ask first

If you are hurt, unwell or pregnant, ask your doctor or midwife before you book.

  • What to wear

Whatever you like to arrive in. Bring nothing; we have the sheets.
