Sports massage in Fayetteville
Two licensed massage therapists who plan your sessions around your training: the long base weeks, the build, race week and the week after. Early mornings, before the pool or the long run.

The season
A sample year for a triathlete in northwest Arkansas. Your races move the bars, and we move your sessions with them.
Long, easy weeks. A 60-minute session when you want one, unhurried work on calves, hips and lower back at a pressure you choose.
Nov to Feb
Training gets harder. 45 to 60 minutes, a little firmer, aimed at the areas you name: calves, quads, hips, and the shoulders after swim days.
Mar to May
Short and light. 30 minutes early in the week at easy pressure. Nothing new, and no deep work in the last two days.
Jun, Sep
The week after a race, or any easy week. A slow hour with long strokes and light pressure, and time to rest at the end.
Jun-Jul, Sep-Oct

Good to know
A session runs 30 to 90 minutes. Race-week sessions are the shortest, and a long session in a heavy block of training is the longest.
Wear whatever you like to arrive in. Undress only as far as you are comfortable; we work around whatever you keep on. You are covered by a sheet or towel the whole time, and only the part we are working on is uncovered.
Yes. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on.
Yes, at any time and for any reason. You can pause, change position or end the session, and we stop right away.
Before we start we ask about pressure and any area to avoid, and we check again in the middle and before the end. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer.
Early in race week, and keep it short and light. We would rather not do deep work in the last two days before a race. Your therapist will plan the week with you.
We usually suggest waiting a few days after the finish, then booking a slow session. Right after the finish line, your legs have done enough for one day.
Ask your doctor or midwife before you book, and tell your therapist when you arrive. We work with a doctor's go-ahead and we do not diagnose.
Yes. A club or a training camp group can book back-to-back sessions together at the studio. We quote first, and a card holds the time.
