Easy week

The week after a race

A slow hour a few days after the finish, or in any easy week.

After a race we suggest waiting a few days. The session is slow: long strokes at light pressure, and time to rest on the table at the end. It also suits a planned easy week in the middle of a block.

  • 45 or 60 minutes

  • Long strokes, light pressure

  • A few days after the finish

Good to know

Pressure, cover and what to wear

  • Pressure

We ask before we start and check as we go. Lighter or firmer, just say.

  • Covered

A sheet or towel the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered.

  • Ask first

If you are hurt, unwell or pregnant, ask your doctor or midwife before you book.

  • What to wear

Whatever is comfortable. Loose clothes are easiest to get into afterward.
