Sessions by length

Choose by where you are in the season. Every session is on a padded table; you are covered the whole time, you set the pressure, and you can stop whenever you like.

In training

Through base and build, as often as your week allows.

  • Maintenance session

    45 min

Calves, hips and lower back, or whichever area your week of training is asking about. A steady session at a pressure you set, with a check at the start, the middle and before the end.

    A good first session

  • Full session

    60 min

Legs, hips and back with time to go where you ask. The session most athletes choose in a steady training week.

    Book: Full session
  • Long session

    90 min

Head to toe, or two areas worked in depth. For a heavy block of training or a long weekend on the bike.

    Book: Long session
  • Focused work

    30 min

One area and nothing else: a calf, a hip, a shoulder. A good fit between a morning swim and the office.

Race week

Short and light, early in the week.

  • Pre-race session

    30 min

Light, brisk strokes on the legs, early in race week. Nothing deep and nothing new, and we leave your legs alone the last two days.

    Book: Pre-race session
  • Race-week whole body

    45 min

A slower, lighter whole-body session in race week, with time to talk through the plan for the day.

    Book: Race-week whole body

After the race

Booked a few days after the finish.

  • Post-race session

    60 min

A slow hour a few days after the finish: long strokes at light pressure, and time to rest on the table at the end.

    Book: Post-race session
  • Easy-week session

    45 min

The same unhurried work in a shorter slot, for a planned easy week or the Monday after a long weekend.

Clubs and extras

For groups, and for more time on the day.

  • Club or camp session

    30 min each

Back-to-back sessions for a club or a training camp group, booked together at the studio. We quote first and a card holds the time.

Every session

How a session runs

  1. Start

    Step 1: A short talk

Where you are in the season, and what your legs and hips have been saying.

  2. Before we begin

    Step 2: Pressure check

We ask about pressure and any area to avoid, and tell you how you will be covered.

  3. On the table

    Step 3: The session

One area uncovered at a time. Tell us to go lighter or firmer whenever you like.

  4. After

Step 4: A few quiet minutes

Take your time getting up. We can suggest when to book next, once you know your race dates.
